Scientific Discovery Day: Lycée Lyautey Students Visit UM6P CoreLabs
UM6P CoreLabs had the pleasure of hosting students from Lycée Lyautey on December 17th, 2025, at the Analytical Chemistry CoreLab. This visit provided a valuable opportunity to introduce high school students to the world of analytical chemistry and to showcase the advanced scientific infrastructure available at UM6P CoreLabs
By opening its laboratories to young learners, CoreLabs aims to stimulate scientific curiosity and encourage early engagement with research and innovation. The program included an overview of the CoreLabs’ missions and activities, highlighting its role in supporting research, industry, and academic collaborations through state-of-the-art analytical technologies
Students were then guided through the laboratory facilities, where they had the opportunity to observe modern instrumentation and learn about the principles and applications of key analytical techniques used in environmental, food, and material analysis. Practical demonstrations and interactive discussions with researchers allowed students to better understand how analytical tools contribute to solving real-world scientific and industrial challenges. Through initiatives such as this educational visit, UM6P CoreLabs reaffirms its commitment to knowledge sharing, scientific outreach, and the development of future generations of scientists by strengthening the connection between research, education, and society.
